Julie Chen Hutchison is the Founder and Executive Director of Ivy Education Consulting LLC.

Julie Chen Hutchison (陈燕青) received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Harvard University, and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University. For more than a decade, she has served as an Alumni Interviewer for Harvard University and has also been a college and university admissions, education and career consultant for students both in the U.S. and China.
Julie Chen Hutchison（陈燕青）本科毕业于哈佛大学心理学系，后取得哥伦比亚大学工商管理硕士（MBA）学位。在过去10多年间，她一直担任哈佛大学校友面试官，同时也为中美两国学生提供本科和研究院申请、教育规划和职业发展等顾问服务。
Prior to becoming an education consultant, she spent more than 15 years working alongside her father, S.L. Chen (陈守廉), providing financial consulting services in various sectors of the U.S. financial markets, including IPO’s, mergers and acquisitions, fund management, real estate, etc., and also organizing financial seminars and training conferences at Columbia University and in cooperation with Columbia professors, for Chinese business leaders and government officials. Mr. Chen received his Master’s Degree in Economics from Columbia University and has more than 50 years of Wall Street experience. He was a key advisor to the central governments of China and Taiwan since the 1980’s on the development of capital markets, and he is Guest Professor at more than 15 major universities in China.

Julie Chen Hutchison was born in New York City and has lived in Greenwich, Connecticut, for more than 40 years. The Town of Greenwich is commonly known internationally as the “Hedge Fund Capital of the World” and is also home to some of the country’s best primary and secondary schools, which she and her brothers attended. Her extended family holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University (4), Columbia University (2), Stanford University and Tufts University. Additionally, two family members currently attend Harvard and Stanford.

From her time at Harvard and Columbia and her many years of experience working with her father in the financial industry, she has developed an extensive network of high-level business executives in finance, law, medicine, international business, real estate, and other professional fields.

From her many years of experience as an Alumni Interviewer and education consultant, she has amassed extensive knowledge about what U.S. college admissions officers are looking for, how to strategically build an appealing resume of activities, how to write a persuasive essay, how to give a convincing interview, and how to navigate the application process for colleges and universities in order to be successful in gaining admission.
从她担任校友面试官和教育顾问的经验中，她积累并掌握了大量的一手资料。她清楚地知道美国大学录取官的选择标准和关心重点，从而能够指导学生有策略地书写有吸引力的简历，写出有说服力的论文，更好地应对面试，最终成功地完成美国本科和研究院的申请流程，以达到被录取的目标。
